This door is made by hand in our workshop in Marrakech. It's built like the old kasbah doors, from thick vertical planks held together with three long hand-forged iron hinges. Across the front are rows of star-shaped iron studs, and a Moorish arch is traced into the wood in the upper part of the door.
In the middle hangs a heavy iron ring knocker, with an iron bolt latch just above it. The frame is carved all around with a small pattern and finished with rosettes at the corners. The wood has a warm honey finish. It comes with the frame, hinges, knocker and latch.
Every door is made to your size. After you order, send us the height and width of your door opening and we'll build it to fit. If you're not sure how to measure, we'll help you.
