Moroccan Carved Fan Door

This door is made by hand in our workshop in Marrakech. The top of the door has an arch filled with a carved fan that opens up from the bottom, with long feathered lines spreading out and a band of fine lattice work along the top of the arch. It's a motif you find above doorways and windows in old Moroccan houses, and it looks a bit like a peacock's tail.

The lower part of the door is left plain, with an iron ring knocker set on a round plate in the middle. The wood has a warm walnut finish that shows the grain. It comes with the frame and the knocker.

Every door is made to your size. After you order, send us the height and width of your door opening and we'll build it to fit. If you're not sure how to measure, we'll help you.

Since each one is carved by hand, small differences from the photo are normal. No two doors come out exactly the same.
